Meet Dr. Thomas Heischmidt, a distinguished physician board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. With a special interest in diabetes, geriatrics, pediatric care, and wound care, Dr. Heischmidt brings a wealth of expertise to Family Care Associates. He completed his Medical Doctorate (MD) at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, following which he finished his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the same institution. Joining our practice in 1999, Dr. Heischmidt has been an integral part of our team, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients. Additionally, he serves on the medical staff at St. Anthony's Memorial Wound Center, exemplifying his commitment to comprehensive healthcare within the community.
